Remote Support Specialist jobs at Bob’s Discount Furniture are open for candidates who have strong customer service, problem-solving, and escalation-resolution skills. This full-time remote position starts with a training class on June 1, 2026. The role pays $20+/hour, based on experience.
In this role, you will help customers and internal agents resolve escalated concerns. You will listen carefully, identify the issue, explain solutions clearly, and follow through until the concern is handled. Also, you will support customer advocates and help maintain a positive customer experience.
What You Will Do as a Remote Support Specialist
As a Remote Support Specialist, you will manage complex customer concerns with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism. You will troubleshoot issues, de-escalate customer interactions, and help internal teams solve problems faster.
You will also document customer concerns, coach support advocates during live inquiries, and work with other departments when needed. Therefore, this role is a strong fit for someone who stays calm, organized, and focused during busy workdays.
Remote Support Specialist Qualifications
Bob’s Discount Furniture requires at least 3 years of customer support or escalation-resolution experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. In addition, candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and experience using call-center phone systems.
This job may be a good match if you enjoy solving problems, helping customers, and supporting team members. However, the position does require phone-based communication, so applicants should be comfortable working in a contact-center environment.
