IQVIA is hiring a remote Patient Support Medical Claims Processing Representative to support payment assistance programs for patients, healthcare providers, and medical professionals. This contract role focuses on reviewing medical claims, validating supporting documentation, interpreting EOB and CMS1500 forms, and applying program-specific business rules to determine whether claims qualify for payment or rejection.
In this role, the representative receives medical claims from healthcare providers or patients, checks each submission for complete documentation, reviews claim details, identifies missing or inaccurate information, and documents claim outcomes. The representative may also assist customer requests through telephone, email, fax, or other support channels when needed. IQVIA requires strong organization, attention to detail, claim processing experience, medical billing certification, coding certification, HIPAA certification, and the ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits documents.
This remote position works a full-time schedule from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET and offers a listed base pay of $23.00 per hour. Candidates with customer service experience, pharmacy technician experience, or bilingual English/Spanish skills may bring additional value to the role.
