Pharmacy Care Technician

The Pharmacy Care Technician supports CVS Specialty pharmacy operations by accurately reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the pharmacy system. This role includes calculating doses, assigning directions, processing insurance payments, routing unclear prescriptions for clarification, and updating prescription information once clarification is received.

The position also supports new patient enrollment, insurance verification, benefit investigations, medication order processing, and customer education. Pharmacy Care Technicians interact with patients, prescribers, internal teams, and pharmacy staff while ensuring accurate prescription processing and timely service.

Although primarily work from home, candidates must live within 75 miles of the Bartlett, Tennessee CVS Specialty location and be available to report onsite for equipment issues, technical needs, or performance review discussions.

* Read and interpret prescription information

### Requirements

* Must live within 75 miles of Bartlett, Tennessee
* 6+ months pharmacy technician experience
* Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required
* National Pharmacy Technician Certification
* 6+ months experience using Windows-based applications
* Computer keyboarding skills
* Hardwired internet connection required
* Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
* Secure, private workspace required
* WiFi and satellite internet are not permitted
