Job Description
The Payer Enrollment Specialist supports Lifepoint Health’s Business Services team by managing end-to-end payer enrollment for assigned providers, tax IDs, and markets. This role prepares, submits, and tracks initial enrollments, re-enrollments, demographic updates, and provider participation requests with commercial and government payers.
The specialist maintains CAQH profiles, researches payer requirements, follows up with payers, resolves enrollment delays, tracks effective dates and provider identification numbers, and ensures enrollment records are accurate and complete. This position requires strong attention to detail, high-volume workflow management, payer portal experience, and knowledge of provider enrollment requirements.
### Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payer enrollment
* Prepare and submit initial enrollment applications

### Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 2+ years payer enrollment, provider enrollment, or insurance-related experience
* Strong understanding of payer requirements
* Knowledge of enrollment workflows and timelines
* Ability to manage multiple enrollments at once
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong accuracy and quality focus
* Microsoft Office proficiency
* Data entry systems experience
* Ability to work in a high-volume remote environment
