Payment Poster

The Payment Poster is responsible for posting and reconciling payments, processing refunds, maintaining accurate account balances, researching reimbursement discrepancies, and supporting revenue cycle functions across multiple ambulatory surgery centers.

This role focuses heavily on payment posting, insurance remittance review, refund processing, and account reconciliation. Most work is performed independently within billing systems and spreadsheets, making it a strong fit for candidates seeking back-office healthcare revenue cycle work with minimal phone responsibilities.

### Key Responsibilities

* Post insurance and patient payments daily
* Post account adjustments
* Reconcile daily payment activity
* Process account refunds
* Balance cash and payment records
* Research reimbursement discrepancies
* Review payer remittances
* Contact payers regarding payment issues
* Request refunds for overpayments
* Enter refunds into AdvantaX
* Prepare refund check registries
* Submit refund documentation to Accounts Payable

### Requirements
