PurposeBuilt Brands is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to support inventory accuracy, reporting, reconciliation, process improvement, and supply chain performance initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of inventory records while helping the organization improve operational efficiency and inventory visibility across multiple locations.

This Inventory Control Analyst role fits best as a non-phone position. Team members spend most of their time analyzing inventory data, reviewing reports, investigating discrepancies, conducting reconciliations, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Communication primarily occurs through meetings, email, and cross-functional collaboration rather than customer-facing phone activity.

Primary responsibilities include executing inventory control workflows, performing site-level inventory reviews, reconciling discrepancies, comparing inventory records across distribution centers and manufacturing partners, and maintaining accurate transactional data. Analysts review inventory activity, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions that improve inventory accuracy and operational performance.

In addition, team members participate in physical inventory audits, support accounting reconciliation activities, maintain inventory segmentation, and monitor inventory-related metrics. The role also involves analyzing damaged inventory, work order variances, slow-moving inventory, and quality-event inventory to identify opportunities for improvement.

The position requires advanced Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software. Analysts develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics that support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. They also lead inventory-related discussions, present findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues.

Additional responsibilities include supporting month-end inventory reconciliation, assisting with compliance activities, mentoring team members, managing inventory dispositions, overseeing rework and scrap projects, and recommending process improvements that strengthen inventory control procedures. Team members contribute directly to supply chain optimization and operational excellence initiatives.

Successful candidates typically possess experience in supply chain operations, manufacturing, accounting, inventory management, or related analytical functions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ERP experience, and the ability to work independently are important for success in this role. Experience within consumer packaged goods manufacturing environments may provide additional advantages.
