Client Bill Processor

The Client Bill Processor supports APS Medical Billing’s billing team by processing client bills, manually keying charges, removing incorrect charges, reviewing census information, and adjusting client or patient billing records. This role requires strong organization, data accuracy, computer skills, and the ability to research and analyze billing information in a fast-paced medical billing environment.

This position is best suited for candidates with medical billing experience, client billing experience, healthcare data entry experience, or nursing home billing knowledge. While the role is primarily billing and data processing focused, candidates should be comfortable using a phone system when needed.

### Key Responsibilities

* Manually key charges on client bills
* Remove charges from client bills when needed
* Review census information for skilled nursing facility billing
* Adjust client and patient bills
* Support the billing team with direct billing-related tasks
* Research and analyze billing data
* Organize and prioritize assigned work
* Manage multiple billing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Use Outlook, Excel, Word, and internal billing tools
* Use a phone system when needed

### Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical billing setting
* Ability to organize and prioritize work
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Ability to research and analyze data
* Ability to use a phone system
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

### Preferred Qualifications

* Nursing home billing experience preferred
* Skilled nursing facility billing experience preferred
* Client billing experience preferred
* Healthcare billing data entry experience preferred
