Additional responsibilities include opening, sorting, scanning, uploading, and organizing incoming documents within the Javelina claims processing system. The associate also identifies documents received in error, forwards information to appropriate vendors, and assists with written inquiries sent through the Claims Mail inbox. This role requires strong attention to detail, productivity management, and the ability to maintain quality standards in a production-based healthcare office environment.

Candidates with experience in healthcare claims processing, medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, eligibility verification, coordination of benefits, medical coding, or healthcare administration may align strongly with this position. Previous experience working with automated claims systems and healthcare benefits administration environments can also provide an advantage during the hiring process.

The pay range for this Hybrid Claims Associate role is $17.49 to $21.38 per hour.
