Pharmacy Technician – Non Clinical Diverts

The Pharmacy Technician – Non Clinical Diverts role supports CVS Health pharmacy operations by screening prescription orders, researching prescription issues, reviewing and entering prescription overrides, and routing questionable prescriptions for clarification. This position is designed for licensed pharmacy technicians who can work accurately in a remote, closed-door pharmacy environment.

Technicians are responsible for reviewing prescription information, maintaining quality and production standards, supporting workflow accuracy, and ensuring patients receive correct prescriptions in a timely manner. The role requires strong attention to detail, prescription knowledge, data entry accuracy, and the ability to work across multiple computer systems.

### Key Responsibilities

* Screen prescription orders
* Research and review prescription issues

### Requirements

* Active Pharmacy Technician license in Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
* Illinois applicants must also have national certification marked on state license
* 1+ year pharmacy technician experience
* Ability to read and interpret prescription terminology
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Data entry experience
* Microsoft Office knowledge
* Secure private workspace with closing door
* Hardwired internet connection required
* Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
* WiFi and satellite internet are not permitted
