Job Description
The Technical Analyst, Pharmacy Support provides technical support for ScriptPro pharmacy automation systems, proprietary software, hardware, networking infrastructure, and pharmacy workflow solutions. Analysts troubleshoot technical issues, investigate system performance concerns, provide remote assistance, and resolve incidents through phone, chat, email, and ticket management systems.
This role combines help desk support, software troubleshooting, database analysis, pharmacy technology support, and customer-facing technical assistance. Team members work directly with pharmacies to support automation systems, insurance processing integrations, payment systems, SQL databases, and pharmacy operational workflows.
The position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience supporting software, hardware, operating systems, networking environments, and customer applications.
### Key Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot pharmacy software and automation systems
* Support customers through phone, chat, email, and ticket queues
* Analyze and review system performance issues
* Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and networking environments
* Support SQL databases and application functionality
* Research technical issues using internal documentation and knowledge bases
* Work support tickets based on customer impact and priority
* Recommend workflow improvements and best practices
* Clearly communicate troubleshooting steps and solutions to customers
* Monitor systems for connectivity and performance issues
* Coordinate support activities with field technicians
* Support third-party insurance and payment processing integrations
* Maintain accurate documentation within CRM and ticketing systems
* Build customer relationships through exceptional technical support
### Requirements
* 3+ years of experience supporting Windows operating systems, networking, software, and hardware
* Advanced hardware troubleshooting skills
* Experience supporting proprietary software applications
* Experience using remote support tools
* Working knowledge of networking and connectivity concepts
* Intermediate SQL database knowledge and query syntax experience
* Experience using help desk ticketing systems
* Experience working within SLA-driven environments
* Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
### Preferred Qualifications
* Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
* Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience
* Pharmacy operations knowledge
* IT certifications (A+, Network+, MCITP, etc.)
* Inventory supplier experience
