Job Description

Red River is hiring a Remote Order Manager to support order processing, purchasing activities, vendor coordination, logistics management, and supply chain operations. This full-time remote position serves as a critical link between sales, operations, finance, vendors, and customers to ensure orders move accurately and efficiently from placement through completion.

This Remote Order Manager role fits best as a low-phone operations position. Team members communicate regularly with sales teams, finance departments, warehouse personnel, logistics providers, and vendors. However, the majority of daily work focuses on order management, documentation review, purchasing coordination, tracking activities, and process improvement rather than customer-facing phone support.

The Order Manager handles post-sale administrative functions including contract review, sales order creation, purchase order creation, vendor coordination, shipment tracking, returns processing, and order completion activities. In addition, the role supports accounts payable and accounts receivable processes while helping ensure accurate invoicing and documentation.

The position also requires close collaboration with internal warehouse teams, logistics providers, finance departments, and external vendors. As a result, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities are essential. Team members monitor open orders, provide status updates, coordinate inventory activities, and help maintain documentation that complies with company and governmental requirements.

Process improvement remains a major component of this role. The Order Manager identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen vendor relationships, streamline supply chain processes, and support overall operational excellence. In addition, the position supports procurement activities, inventory management efforts, and documentation controls related to quality standards and risk management procedures.

Candidates with experience in operations support, order processing, purchasing, logistics coordination, inventory management, customer service, project coordination, CRM systems, workflow management, or administrative operations may align well with this opportunity. Experience working with Excel, ERP systems, CRM platforms, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and remote collaboration tools may provide additional advantages.

Overall, this role offers a strong opportunity for organized professionals who enjoy coordinating multiple moving parts, solving operational challenges, improving processes, and supporting efficient business operations within a remote environment.
