Job Description

Independence Pet Holdings is hiring for a Remote Fraud Analyst Job within its Carrier Operations department. This remote role supports insurance fraud investigations, SIU operations, compliance processes, and fraud reporting activities.

The company operates several pet health and insurance brands across North America. In this position, the Carrier Operations Fraud Analyst helps maintain fraud prevention programs and supports regulatory compliance efforts.

Carrier Operations Fraud Analyst Responsibilities

As a Carrier Operations Fraud Analyst, you will investigate fraud referrals and report cases to regulatory agencies when needed. You may also assist state investigators with fraud-related requests.

In addition, you will help manage annual SIU reporting requirements and maintain fraud investigation documentation. Accurate recordkeeping and workflow management are important for this role.

Insurance Fraud Investigation and Compliance Duties

This Remote Fraud Analyst Job also includes analyzing fraud trends and identifying emerging concerns. You may collaborate with internal teams, administrators, regulators, and law enforcement during investigations and audits.

Also, you may:

  • Maintain fraud workflows and process documentation
  • Conduct fraud-related audits
  • Prepare fraud reports for leadership
  • Support fraud training compliance
  • Manage referral logs and investigation records
  • Maintain fraud plans and organizational documentation

Qualifications for This Remote Fraud Analyst Job

Independence Pet Holdings prefers candidates with experience in insurance operations, fraud investigations, or compliance. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Criminal Justice, or a related field is also preferred.

Candidates should have:

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Organization and project management skills
  • Knowledge of insurance fraud detection and compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with state fraud reporting, audits, SIU programs, and claims analysis may also help.
